COMMISSION OF SEVERAL ORGANIZATIONS VISITED AND DEFENSE ATTORNEY TOWN OF SANTIAGO MORONA


In compliance with the resolution adopted at the Fourth Meeting of Women and I Guardians of the Amazon made in March this year , a committee of the Women's Front of the Amazon Guardians, Defenders of the Pachamama, and the Farmers Association ACLI Indanza Lemon, were on 12 May in the cities of Mendez and Macas to make document and intervene in the media communication on the judicial process against Lina Solano Ortiz by the current mining Resources.
also go to the Ombudsman in Macas to formally report what happened to the companion Rosario López and Manuel Peláez who were called to the police station in Limon.

Therefore it is requesting the closure of this case that is part of the prosecution that there is against our brothers and sisters who have had to face several other trials with false accusations which we have been fighting to defend the invasion by mining.

finely went to the Ombudsman's Office where he made a formal complaint in this case of harassment and violation of the right to free expression of members of the ACLI.

We will remain vigilant that our requests are received and in the coming days we will make further action to get it to close the prosecution process and action by the Ombudsman of Morona Santiago.
